Just finished carving this. Its ash wood carved with only a knife. Thought it might give some people an idea...

cracking mate should see the one i made, big block of de barked branch with lots of notches in it, in the end i had to convince my friend it was an instrument i reallly meant to make and when you slide another stick down the side it makes a nice noise :)
