Can anyone id this plant, and is it edible?

Not too sure fella, but it looks like something has been eating it.
Looks like a veg of some sort....Cucumber...???

Difficult to tell from the pic but what about Oilseed rape?:confused:
Or ******* cabbage repistrum rugosum? it is shorter and hairier than my parents are married cabbage brassica olerarea.
As for edible it has a flower with four petals and grows in a rosette, i would at least taste it, but that is just me, I do so at my own risk.

'illegitimate' cabbage has round buds, wild cabbage and wild turnip have long smooth buds, and the other yellow flowered species have long segmented buds.

If it has four petals then I'd place my bets on it being a brassica arite. Judging by the leaves it looks like Wild Cabbage (Brassica oleracea) to me.
