I'm going nationalist here for a moment. I have Fallknivens, Opinels, various scandis, my Benchmade, SAK. Shrade Cutlery just shut down over here. It was a fine company with an enviable ethic toward employee and customer. Between 9/11 and heavy competition from cheap imports they were doomed. The parent company, Imperial also owns Camillus. Naturally, people who never gave them a thought are buying up remaining stocks as speculative investments. So, we have a world economy, global village blah, blah, blah. But if you can buy a domestic product the equal of an import, give them a chance, or at least by from friendlies. I went to a gunshow recently. This vendor was selling newly made Vietnamese pith helmets with the red star. Thats fine with me, but he was screaming about Kerry's questionable war record :?:

Thas' it, Mate. Take the wide view. :rolmao:
