View Full Version : Karrimor Sabre 35 Vs Snugpak 35 sleeker
Looking for a new 35L ruck can't decided between the Karrimor and the Snugpak.
I do have a few requirements which retail descriptions seem to suggest they both meet:
water repellent
comfortable -
side pouches fit pattern 58 water bottles
With the Karrimor being wice the price of the Snugpak is it really worth the extra expense?
Any advice or alternative suggestions are much appreciated.
As an alternative - I use a Karrimor Sabre Hydro 30, I know it is smaller than you quoted but has a lot of very good features. It has not let me down in over 2 years and is very comfy to carry. Follow the link for more info

That is nice but never got on with hydration systems -really after something with side pouches
There's a pretty detailed description of the Sabre 35 here, if you haven't already seen it?

was hoping for personal advice rather than shop info
it does seem from what i've picked up that the
Karrimor Sabre 35 size included the side pouches while Snugpak 35 sleeker has a 35l main pack + side pouches
still no closer deciding mind...
If the sleeker is owt like a rocketpak it a factor will be how tall you are. If you're over 5'8, go for the Sabre.
Found a good review on the Sabre 30:

The only thing I could find on the Sabre 35 was this info from Awe Outdoors:

However I wouldn't try ordering from them as they have gone bankrupt, last I heard.
