Has anyone experience with the Chris Reeve Shadow III single guard?
I have a Project II and I am looking for a smaller one.

I've a Shadow IV (double guard) which suits me. You'd have to try the Shadow III as I suspect the handle could be a bit small for some.

I have had a shadow 3 for a few years noe, but the double guard version. It is a lovely knife, takes a wicked edge and holds it nicely. And if you are clever you can fit a firesteel and emergency tinder in the handle. I epoxied mine into the cap so it acts as the handle when you strike the steel. Buy one!

Excellent idea. Good plan for my Project II too.
