Hi folks,
I'm pretty new to this Bushcraft stuff , so expect some silly questions. I live in central scotland, Im in my late 30's, married with 2 girls & I've had the call of the wild for a long time & am just now about to answer it , after years of it being ignored. My wife thinks its a good thing for me to get out & about , so I have the approval of mission control for weekend jaunts(as long as I ask nicely hehe).

The few folks Ive had anything to do with on this site already show what a friendly & helpful place BCUK is.

I've got some gear & I'm now looking for somewhere I can go out local & start learning without getting into trouble(brewkit was 1st thing on my list to get), hehe I also hope this will help keep me fit.

just a short Hi as I never know what to say.

so Hi all & hope to get to know you all well

Welcome mate, anything at all you want to know don't be afraid to ask. I've met a few really good friends through this site and seem to keep doing so. If you're anywhere near Ayrshire, I have the Galloway forest on my doorstep if you fancy a wander or a night out. (in the forest i mean) not the pub lol, although that's always an option :lmao:
