Being skint an all 'read as, miserable' lol :o I tend to make alot of my own gear. I've aquired a cracking set of bicycle pannier bags that i fancy making into a 'dog pack' like this http://www.amazon.com/Dog-Pack-Small-Backpack-for-Dogs/dp/B0007KJL94

Thing is, I need some webbing strap material and plastic snap buckles to get it to stay on. I have plenty closed cell foam to pad them with and he's a BIG dog, 14 stone bullmastiff, and I think it's about time he started carrying his own food lol. 3 days worth of food for him is 5Kg so you can see why i think he should carry his own 'and some of mine lol' .

Does anybody know were i can get a couple of metres of webbing strap and a couple of those plastic buckle things? if i cant find the buckles i can always butcher an old rucksack ;)

I may be able to help you here - for swaps not cash (if you have something to swap that is...)
What colour/length/width of webbing, how many/what size/what colour buckles? ( I mainly have black!)
Let me know and I will se what I can do.

Scrappies. Old car seat belts. Very wide so they won't cut into the poor dogs flesh! You may not need to pad it out so much then either.
