We're off to Pembrokeshire this weekend to do some surfing and possibly some climbing.

However, if its flat or blown out I think we might travel over to the Brecons. WE never been here so I'm after some info.

What I really want is an idea for a whistle stop tour (2 day) to get a flavour of the place, with the intension of coming back for a proper visit. As we'll be full of surf gear we'll not be taking walking gear (other than boots and waterproofs) so long walks/ playing on the tops is out this time. But I'd like to check it out for futher "adventures".

Hi

Think most first timers would probably check out Pen Y fan, the famous
climb. You could walk that in less than an hour. Great views from the top.
Also the waterfalls, Sgwyd y eira is a great one to start with. Though
the fall is more spectacular in winter, still beautiful though, and you can take a walk behind, and get yourself wet

A good dive is through the Black mountains towards Hay on Wye. 11 miles uphill but worth it for the view in both directions at the top from Lord Herefords Knob :rolmao:

Fan Fawr which is opposite Pen-y-fan/Corn du is also very good. Not quite so high, but much less busy.
