Is T-cut metal polish any good for using as a stropping compound?
Thanks'
Tom.
I read about it on the internet. It says it removes shallow scratches and leaves a mirror polish. Sounds good to me. I would try it on a piece of cardboard, before you put it on a leather strop. It costs about £7, so it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work.
Good luck!

Thanks Michiel,
Will try it on a cheap blade first and see.

Autosol is good stuff. I wouldnt bother with the T-cut though. I've actually got a fair bit of stropping compound spare i'll give you next week mate. Got a spare leather strop too if you want? :)
