Hello, guys,
My wife is asking me to go walking along Hadrians Wall. However, I soon travel abroad and therefore quite involved with preparations to travel to Central Asia while my wife is very busy on her job, therefore we did not properly explore what gear we should take with us. If anyone walked along the Wall before, could you advise us what we should take with us?
As I know it is not allowed to camp near the Wall, so thanks God we do not need to bring tent and sleeping bags, but what about cooker and food?
Thanks for suggestions, :pack:

Its northumberland so you need your boots and definately waterproofs. Plus a spare jumper - having said that it can also get a bit warm. The weather up there has a mind of its own - so be prepared.

The path is easy enought to follow and the OS do a 1:25000 map of the wall.

I'd also take a small pair of binoculars as here is loads of wildlife to spot.

One of those long poles to aid your balance (assuming you are walking along Hadrian's Wall, rather than along side!!!)
