After some pressure :rolleyes: I am starting the tenth Hammock Group Buy

The reserve list for these has now grown to the level where another buy has become almost inevitable. The information is the same as the first post in this thread

or a number of others, although frankly if you do not yet know about the group buy hammocks you really have not being paying attention.

The last time the price worked out at £19.30 including postage and PayPal fees. Hopefully the price will be about this level again but this is still to be confirmed.

I am not placing the order yet but will do so when we get to about 40 reserved between here and SotP.

Those who have expressed an interest on the old thread MUST post their interest here as well to keep all the information in the same place.

No chance of nets at the moment. No doubt there will be another buy eventually but it is far more of a drawn out process than ordering hammocks.

No problem at all. I have posted a number of hammocks to Europe. usually it is about an extra £1.50 to £2 depending on the post office :rolleyes:

Gave mine it's first outing last night river camping at Ty Isaf (http://www.tyisafbala.co.uk/riverc.htm) near Bala.

I used it with a full length self inflating mat, 3 season bag with liner and was comfy and warm.

The distributer that used to make the ones for he Eco System but the group buy ones are slightly different and made in a differnt factory. they are made to our order which is why it is more work than ordering the hammocks whihc are an off the shelf product from the hammock manufacturer in Bali

I have confirmed that the price is almost the same (about 20pence per hammock more expensive) so I should get round to posting a new thread later
