It's Peter Duncan, ex of Blue Peter and Duncan Dares.
A good choice? He's always been encouraging kids to get and do stuff, so possibly.

Good choice. His TV series where he and his family travelled around the world was really enjoyable...

I tend to think it's a good choice as well, just so long as nobody mentions the porn film he was in prior to Blue Peter... :wink:

Well no-one seems to mention what Lord Baden Powells contemporaries said and wrote about him ;-) .... he'll fit right in.

oohh, what did they write? I must have missed this bit.
Many years ago during his old "Duncan Dares" series he spent some time with Lofty Wiseman.
From memory he spent some time learning plants, building shelter, fishing and making fire before going on a trek which culminated in building a raft on the sea shore.
... and it had to be cut short as he was getting very ill, kept being sick and couldn't stomach the wild food. He was thrown in at the deepend though with no previous expierience, that was full on survival.....
