On my recent paddling holiday in Poland, there was heavy rain on several days.
That’s when we had good use of the Tatonka Tarp 2TC we brought along.

This is a 3x3m tarp made of Polycotton (a 65/35 cotton/polyester mix) that’s been impregnated and with the centre seam sealed. The tarp sports 9 attachment points (8 at the edges and corners, and 1 in the tarp middle), which makes it a breeze to put up in almost any shape you could whish for.
Being impregnated, the Polycotton fabric dried very quickly after a rain-shower, so we never had any problems having to lug around wet gear.

As we were sleeping in tents, we only used the tarp as a roof/raincover in the camps. There’s something quite soothing in sitting dry under a tarp, listening to the rain falling whilst having a brew and chatting away with the mates.
For this, the Tatonka Tarp 2TC was perfect.
Being of Polycotton, this is not the lightest tarp around, but for a paddling trip, a car-based trip or when you want to put up more of a basecamp to do daytrips from, this tarp is the bees knees.
