View Full Version : Karrimor problem
I recently bought a karrimor backpack for €4,5. Great deal, but one of the aluminium "bars" is missing. The ones on the back of the backpack. Is there someplace where I can find this?

I’m not familiar with this brand of rucksack, Michiel, but the thought occurs to me that you might be able to buy a piece of aluminium flat bar from a metal workers supplier (assuming that the ‘internal frame’ is removable). I’ve certainly never seen replacement parts for this brand of rucksack, anywhere, but someone might be along soon with better information.
Best regards,
Paul.

It doesn't help that 'Karrimor' as such is gone.
SF as we all know and love is PRI, but Blacks bought the name to put on their own brand stuff. Those few bits knocking around Argos a year or two ago were the last vestiges of the real company.
You will have a hell of a job getting genuine parts - send me the dimension in Sept when I'm back at work and I'll knock one up - if you aren't sorted by then.

Thanks a lot for the offer. I'll let you know if I can't find a solution.
I was thinking of taking an aluminum bar from an other rucksack and cutting it to the correct length. Would this be possible?

I didn't know that, that's a real shame. :(
