Pink moth

I have just caught a moth or I think its a moth it has a pick underbelly pink on top with litle flecks on its wing I have tried to upload the photos without much luck can anyone have a stab at what it might be

That looks like the one I have never seen one before and was amazed at how big it was are they rare

There are a few moths which could be considered 'pink' Have a look at www.ukmoths.org.uk

Well if it is an elephant hawk moth, it would look like this, we often get them in the traps and I never tire of seeing them....

Yes thats the one jon its the first one i've seen, its beautiful
