I've needed a new sleeping bag for a while and, after reading a few comments made here, decided to purchase a Nanok -10 'endurance' bag. I have to say I'm pleased with what I've seen so far - It arrived today and I had a bit of a kip in it earlier on the floor and found it very comfortable (if a little hot when used indoors  ).

Anyway, on to my original point...

It came with a 'boot cover'. This is a waterproof 'bucket' that tucks into the bottom of the bag for when you have to sleep with your boots on.

I'm probably not ever going to use this as intended so can anyone think of any alternative uses for it?
Carrying water is the obvious one but anything else?

Thanks :)

You could put the bag and stuff sack in the boot bag. It will act as an additional waterproof cover. You'll need to tie it up with something,

I'm just using mine to store the bag uncompressed, it seems a good size for that.
