I already have a TLE-5 upgraded light and it's a big improvement over the stock mag lamp so i fancied trying the new version.

I got a TCS-1 clickie at the same time

Modding is easy and takes about as long as it takes to read this post, if you can change the batteries in your mini mag you can do it, no tools required at all.

All done, still the discrete and tough wee light it always was but now it's worth carrying.

Compared to the standard lamp on left the new TLE-5EX is a great improvement.

For about £16 you can breath new life into an old mini mag, not the most exciting torch in the world by any stretch of the imagination but cheap enough to leave in the car or your shooting bag and dead cheap to run on AA's.

Seem to have a lot of the terralux range...and UK too by the look of things.

I agree with Rapidboy, it is a great way to update your scruffy old mini maglite.
