This is what ive been up to today:)

The container is made from thick willow bark and even the binding material is willow bark cordage. There were a couple of wholes in the bark where old shoots used to be so i patched them up with Birch tar. When the bark is totally dry i will be adding more tar to make it totally watertight.

As for the spoon....I was out for a walk in the woods early this morning and found a Sycamore sapling that was totally debarked (by squirrels i think). I know that the tree would soon die so i made a spoon out of its wood.
