I am looking for a plastic bottle to fit inside my stove kit to store meths in. I have an overall space 80mm high by 75mm diameter so it must fit into these dimensions as tightly as possible. Does anybody have any ideas where i can find somrthing like this? I am currently using a small nikwax bottle but it is a bit too long, meaning my trangia has to go outside the pot, which i would rather it didnt have to. I have been looking round the supermarket but havent found anything the right size yet. I am not sure where to look online, any ideas?

Best I could do would be a LDPE Azlon bottle of 110 x 50 mm. Any use?:rolleyes:

i got a nalgene bottle about the same dims, its the right volume just too long. The 80mm length is an absolute maximum.

By my calculation thats about 344ml. 330ml being the standard coke can/ drinks bottle size.
Actually those dimensions are more jar shaped..

if scroll down to "P.E.T. Jars With Black Lid", there is 70mm dia 80mm high jar holding 250ml.

how about trying to find a cheap hip flask? they hold liquid safely and dont leak and they might just fit inside the trangia.

That would go nicely wih the baling twine i use for a belt, and my hugely overstuffed carrier bag i carry about!
