You already have a personal footnote! ;)
See at the bottom of your post: it says Aelf.
If you want, you can change it by going to
User CP (short for User Control Panel)

Click on Edit signature
http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/profile.php?do=editsignature
And change your personal footnote (signature) - note you are only allowed to use 300 characters max.
To add a picture (avatar):
Again, go to User CP
Click on Edit Avatar

Browse through the pics 'till you find one you like, or upload one :D
