Hey

I would like to be a paratrooper in the british army, but i'm dane...
Can I get in anyway as a foreigner? Or do I need to have british citizenship?... IF so... is this hard to get? My grammatics are good but not superb (as you can see), my talking is much better! :-D

Anyone (maybe even paratroopers) who knows something about them or could recommend them? Maybe you could recommend another unit? (welsh guards etc.)

Need help.... 8-)

best thing to do is ask!

when i was in the TA a guy i joined up with had loads of problems with documents because his brother lived in Northern Ireland!

chances are you would have problems with visas and language but it has been known for the british army to take on many different races under its wing.

please learn some slang and phrases before you join up!

Just checked out Army web-site (http://www.army.mod.uk) Looks like you would have to take up British citizenship first, and then actually live here for five years before you'd be accepted.

You need 5 years UK citizenship unless you join a regiment in your country that does frequent exchanges.
