I have a PLCE Bergen and pouch set but I was wondering on the best ways of frontal carrying.

(bear in mind that I do have a bosom...)

should i get a chest rig or go for an assault vest

and which one?

(Im quite taken by these modular systems which will indulge in my strange pouch interest to my hearts content)

i hav'it got one but you can make the US molle vests up how you like
the webbing just clips on or off but it will cost a bit

What are you looking at carrying in a chest rig? You may be restricted by the size of the individual pouches and not being able to get all of the kit you want in. I've known a few women in the forces with an ample cleavage who had no trouble wearing a chest rig or kop vest. Kop vest is easier to get on and off as it just zips up the front like a waist coat. Chest rigs don't have the same capcity.

Spamel has just stolen my thunder! I have a rather worn but comfortable assault vest that I've used since 2002 but, you find that after time, you want to add/change bits. As mentioned before, MOLLE rigs are great if you want to indulge a pouch fetish as you can design/build whatever you like.

Pardon me for asking but, why so keen on a chest rig/assault vest?
