Hi All

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a decent (or indecent! ) leather strop?

Cheers

I like using my belt. you can create a loop by putting the length through the buckle, drop the loop over your foot, wrap the end in your hand and pull on it giving you some nice tension to strop on...

Belt ... add a drop of chrome car polish as an abrasive.

Morning chaps,

I have been using a leather belt since about 1990, it's started to get a bit thin now, but it still works very well (same belt still in use) :-) .

I found that it is better after it has dried after a long walk. It is slightly rougher and becomes smoother and softer as you use it as a strop. :-D

A little bit of any lubricant keeps most any blade from rusting after you have used it (to protect against the salts from the body that have remained in the belt) as a precaution. :-D
