View Full Version : Repairing my tarp

My cotton 3x3 tatonka has a number of, small, 'slits' in it. They don't really let the rain in, but I am worried about them getting bigger.

But is it worth trying to fix them, since I run the risk of messing up my tarp. Could I glue patches from the bag that came with it, that is made from the same material? Or just forget about them?

Cheers

If it's pure cotton or polycotton I'm sure there will be a repair kit out there and the repair may be better than the original. I would phone the retailer and ask forakit as I'm sure they make one. You may find they will repair it for free. VANGO are very good at sending replacement poles or repairs for their tents..

Good Luck.
