Hey peeps,
just a quicky, does anyone have any idea where i can get hold of some side pouchs that fit a Berghaus Cyclops Crusader? I seem to have 'mislaid' mine :o or someone has mislaid them for me :cussing:
Any help would be greatly appreciated :D
I seem to recall PLCE pouches being used by someone years ago. Have you had a look to see if they are compatible?

I did when i got my crusader.... first set i bought had the zips the wrong way up...second set had a different zip profile..
took about 8 months of trawling ebay to get a set... I had to resort to silvermans to get the shoulder straps though. They might do the pouches still?

Thanks chaps but i've tried the PLCE pouchs and all the zips are the wrong way round, believe me, i've tried a lot of pouchs (cheers QMSM), pain in the butt, i know. :(
By the way Spamel, how's things going? Last time we talked, you were going through the 'Change'. Did it all go smoothly? And i'm afraid i have to blame you for my current fixation for Response pak's! :D

What about asking Berghas directly? They'll send you straight to someone who has them.

If I wanted them, I would have just ordered online... I haven't heard any horror stories about silvermans yet.

I'm surprised, but then they are Pentland now! So maybe I shouldn't be.

I use green PLCE pouches on my Berghaus Vulcan, never had any problems using issued pouches on Berghaus kit mate. So due to the fact that I don't use my Berghaus ones, if you think they will fit your bergen and I can find them :rolleyes: you can have them, send me a PM if your interested. :D

yep the Vulcan does take PLCE but the Crusader is an older design and did have differnt zips
they beefed them up for tyhe newer stuff and changed the way up. ( from memory ive just used Vulcan for the last 15yrs and never looked at another Bergan since :D )

He's right...just compared a crusader to a vulcan -
crusader zips from the top down, the vulcan zips from the bottom up...and has a chunkier zip....unfortunately

Brian, thanks for the kind offer but i don't think they would fit and i'd hate to take something and not use it if someone else could benefit from it. cheers anyway
Squidders and Dougster, when i said i'd e-mailed them, i meant Berghaus not Silvermans. Saying that though, the Silvermans are for the later design Vulcan and Crusader, so they don't fit (apparently) and i'm afarid i cannot afford £40 plus P&P to take a risk.
My quest continues..................... .............................. ... :rolleyes:
