PLCE Bergen Frame Bending

Hi there,

I've been given one of these massive 120 ltr bergens with the detachable side pockets from as ex soldier.

The metal frame can be removed and consists of three flat aloy bars linked at the top by another alloy bar.

I'm thinking I need to bend these to fit my back. Is that correct?
If so, what's the technique for doing this?

Theyo tend to bend by themslves after a while, but you tend to get a bit of a sore back in the meantime! Try bending it into a slight s shape when viewed from the side, so that it will roughly follow the contour of your back. Saying that, I've never bent mine and just let them take their natural course.
