Whilst on Inchconnachan - a loch lomond island - on saturday, we spotted some small tennis ball sized, digging marks. There was also 'butterbean' shaped and sized droppings, dry and virtually grass.

There is allegedly Wallabies on this island, so was that the tracks we saw ?

Lady Arran Colquhoun introduced wallabies to the island along with many other species in the twenties. Very few survive today but the wallabies thrive. Occassionally they do get culled.

Animals previously introduced were badgers but because of the lack of a large enough pasture area they appear to have died out. The island holds some of the most amazing wildlife that you can see in Scotland-it's best to go and discover yourself.
