Just found a supplier of the army wool blankets (80% wool, 20% othe fibres). They are new and unused and the guy is selling them at £9.95 each.
I got two with the view to making up a homemade swani out of one.
The shop is a great army surplas place on the road between Worcester and Stratford on Avon, (between flyford flavel and inkberrow).

similar, but darker. I guess, even the forces guys like to have a choice of colour in their billets :D .
