View Full Version : Karrimor sabre 45 back length
I would like to know if the back length of the sabre 45 is the same as on the snugpak rocketpack.
I have a snugpak and the back length is too short for me so i don't want to buy a sabre if the back length is the same
Can not compare to the snug pack but the back length on the Sabre 45 is just short of 50cm. I have measured the actual length of the padding on the back of the pack. Hope this is of some help to you.

Thanks for your reply :) but what i would really like to know is if the sabre actually sits around the waist rather than a bit higher up on the back like the snugpak.
I believe the snugpak was made so that you can carry a waist / utility belt beneath it and as i am six feet tall this sits too high for me and i would like something with the centre of gravity a lot lower, i.e around or just above the waist.
On myself the waist strap sits just above my hips, which makes it very comfortable even with a fair amount of weight in it. This wasn't the case when I first go tthe bag as I hadn't worked out that the foam pad in the bag was bendable to the shape of my back. Once I realized this it has been great but I am only 5,10 so not as tall as your self.

Thanks for the kind offer but i think i am just gonna bite the bullet and order one, they seem to be the bag of choice for a lot of people on here and after trying a few bigger bags in the 60 litre range, i think the 45 will be just right.I am sure someone on here will have it if i don't like it.
