Nasty nylon hollow rope.

My old mini-hammocks all came with a couple of lengnths of what can only be described as "Nasty nylon hollow rope". Does anybody know what its really called please?

(I want to buy some for my group buy hammock, the climbing tape is too bulky and takes ages to dry out)
