Flint and steel....

Hi Guys,
just got the knack of this method, started my first camp fire and i broke my steel!!!! :(
where can i get a good one that will last at least a short while??

uh... you mean a ferrosium rod ( firesteel, fireflash,etc.) or do you mean real flint and steel?

lol, i meant real flint and steel, i managed to break my steel, b###dy flint was fine, just broke the steel! so i need another one!

i just use an olf metal file. works well for me :D

I have tried three or four different steels. In my opinion, the best are made by Mike Ameling.

dave budd on here makes them and I have been nothing but impressed and pleased with mine! - cant reccomend them enough!no conection, blah blah etc;)
