View Full Version : F1 Rehandle?
I am thinking of rehandleing an F1 when it arrives following a trade.
Has anyone done this before and do you have any step by step pictures of your work?
In particular I would like to see a pic of the knife without the handle. :)
there is a thread over on bb on this exact subject!
Do a search on there!
I have just looked high and low on BB, and I can't find anything.
If anyone has a link to the page it would be a great help. :)
This might help, its not a re-handle but one from a new blade (same thing anyway :) )

If only life was that simple. Unfortunately the F1 blade blanks are sold as a Full Tang version of the original. Strip an F1 down and remove the thermorun handle and what you get is NOT the same...quite.
I too would appreciate it if someone has a photo of the exposed tang of a stripped down F1 as I'm considering this as a future project myself and would like to know what I'll find under the thermorun before I do it.
Here is one!
