Too Much Kit To Carry

Hi,

Hope you get as much out of the forum as I have :)

Re: Surplus kit perhaps you could list the items you no longer need with a price you'd like, Never know somebody might be willing to by from you

Welcome to the fire circle.

I've got far more than I need too but it can be handy at times.

My current cook set is made up of bits scavenged from six earlier sets and is lighter and better than any of them now.

Don;t be afraid to mix and match.

Best thing to do is get out and use your kit!

everone is different in what they find useful!

You will soon find out what is and is not essential in your pack!

Welcome to the virtual campfire :D

Kit? Ye gods but it's amazing the amount of stuff that accumulates
I do get a lot of quiet pleasure out of using the pieces that I've either made for myself or that been made for me by friends.
No one set of kit is right for everybody though.

cheers,
Toddy

Welcome from another noobie. I have more kit that I can carry. :( But I would rather have it, and not need it, than to need it, and not have it.

Hello and welcome to BCUK! :D

Don't worry about having too much kit, Jamie6754 and myself have a trip planned and we are discussing whether to try a two man thermal A frame shelter for a night. I just spent a wedge on a new Golite Hex 3 tent and I'm now gonna use a thermal shelter instead!!

Hi Rob
Don't chuck anything out just yet. Have a trawl through the archives and you're bound to find a use for it soon enough.
Welcome too. :)

Welcome aboard

Don't worry about too much kit and not knowing what to do with it.

There are very knowledgeable people on here who still have far too much kit
