From what I have observed on http://www.coracle-fishing.net/, coracles come mainly in two shapes:
- Rectangular(ish)
- Round or oval.
What are the pros and cons of these types of coracles? How much does an average one weigh?
I have made a canoe from natural materials, it was time consuming and hard work. The results were neither as good as I had hoped for. The simplicity and seemingly ease of construction of a coracle really appeals to me.
The bigger ones also seems like excellent shelters. :)
