Anyone ever see it?
Written by Mr. Mears circa 1992.
I have a copy that somehow escaped from one of the local libraries, never seen anyone mention it.
Just got a copy for my birthday yesterday. It has been reprinted in the last year or so.
There is a post on here about the various versions of this book I think its in the general bushcraft section. Great book with lots of good info on the basics.

My Mrs bought me a copy when it was first printed, it's abit dog eared now, but still gets used.
Is that the one in the green hard back cover? Excellent book - used that alot ove rthe years.

I don't recognise the title, what are the chapter headings?
Could be an American re-print of the Survival Handbook I suppose? There are a few of those floating around.

The chapters are headed Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter 8-)
It's a completely different book to the Survival Handbook

after a bit of digging about I think it was republished as the the Outdoor Survival handbook which is currently available via www.raymears.com Wonder why they changed the name?
