Just used my Bushcraft tools to cut down the wife's flowers so that they could fit in a vase - only problem that the stems were soooo tough a knife wouldn't do (Proteas stems) ;

Got the Bushcraft gear out and used the folding saw in the kitchen - job sorted in ten seconds :lol:

Anyone else used bushcraft to help get through Mothering Sunday?

Regards,

Graham.

Add a swiss army knife to that and she can trim her flowers and open her wine :-)

Maybe i should just give her a swiss army knife as an alternative.
She would probably tell me where to put that corkscrew!

Sorry mum.

My Mom always got daffodils for Mothers' day. No problem cutting the stems.

Now, we usually celebrate Mother's day in May (French calendar). Different presents, different flowers. Maybe cook a nice roast, or maybe devilled kidneys :-)
