These are light enough to carry on an overnight hike to sites where you are not allowed fires "No honest guv, its a barbecue, its just that I had to use wood because I forgot the charcoal" ;)
Not bad for £2.99.
(Actually Ibought 6 for my old scout troop too :) )

looks like you'll be having some fine grub on your next stay out.

I have a couple of these too. good kit and cheap as well :)
where did you get that from?
I got one of these in a special offer from the Radio Times some years back and it works very well. IIRC it was very cheap then and its still going.

I bought them from "Camping International" on the A2 in Gillingham right next to the fire station. They are not on their website, but then I think they were probably a "Managers Special" however they are also available from http://www.east-coast-leisure.co.uk/modules/shop/view.asp?Prodcode=3621
All I need now is a tipi to go round it :)

Just had a look at these. Minumum order is £5 (therefore two bbq's) and shipping (disclosed only after filling in the checkout details), is £6.95!!
Evilbay is definitely the option here!
