i have never done any leather work in my life but i want to start. Where can i get sheets of leather from suitable for making sheaths etc and what thread should i use. If you have any other info and tips that would be great! :D
Le Prevo (http://www.leprevo.co.uk/index.html) is good from the looks of things. I use The Identity Store (http://www.pearcetandy.com/store/index.htm), imprters of Pearce Tandy leather, a lot.
As for techniques, have a look at this site Kingsmere Crafts (http://www.kingsmerecrafts.btinternet .co.uk/index.html) They have a huge selection of pages on everything from tools and leather types to tutorials.

Carlsberg don't do tutorials, but if they did:
