Hi all...

Going to this part of France (www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=44.9672&lon=3.65&scale=200000&icon=x )

For a coupe of weeks shortly and the family is terrified of me getting
a) bitten by vipers :bluThinki
b) gored by wild boar :buttkick:
c) eaten by some other wood-living monster :yikes:

whilst I'm out in what is a wilder part of France, in the middle of a national park.

I'm sleeping in my hammock (hopefully the netting will have arrived Magikelly!) so I feel snakes shouldn't be an issue (I don't know many snakes that would scale tree's and get in the hammock with you just to keep warm?!? )

Waddyareckon?

you'll be fine it's like anything else a little vigilance and respect will keep you safe.

The last time i was in the massif central and it was quite a few years ago the mossis had bites like small dogs so keep the insect repellent handy and take some after bite care.
Are you going on an organised trip or with a private party?

let us know how you get on and show us some photos when ya get back
