Couldnt get it, til late afternoon.

It wasn't just you mate, the server decided to throw a wobbler. It needed the boss to give it a good kick, should be alright now.

The back up's etc that we have in place now would prevent any issue of loosing the forum info etc, that lesson was learned a long time ago!
Bushcraft UK is running on a dedicated server so the only people using it are us, usually servers are shared by a few sites, up to hundreds in fact. This is how things used to be for us but this way we’re more secure and we’ve got room to grow without people complaining we’re using all the server resources etc. It’s quite costly doing it this way but it’s far better in the long run. The outage for the Bushcraft UK server was due to needing more memory to handle the databases and server use. Easy to fix, as with most things you just have to chuck a few more $'s at it!
So, sorry for the inconvenience with the server down, the upside is that it's a symptom of growth!
