Does anyone know if Thermarest is anything to do with Colemans??

It doesn't matter now. But there was one on Ebay yesterday, it was rolled up and all you could see was the Colemans logo. I asked the seller and he assured me it was a Thermarest. But why show it rolled up and why the Colemans logo?? Didn't go for it as I wasn't sure.

'Thermarest' is going the way that 'Hoover' went in that the brand name is often used to describe a similar, possibly inferior, item. He might not have known any better. :rolleyes:

i've got a highlander thermalite. identical to a thermarest in almost every way (i did a side by side comparison) with the exeption of the inflation valve. but 1/3 the price.
don't worry too much.

Yes Graham I've been watching a few of them on ebay. They have non slip on both sides so should be ok in hammock.

I've got a thermarest - but not of the Thermarest brand! I got it from Alpkit.com - significantly cheaper and an excellent company to shop with (allbeit with a limit range).
