I paid Axminster tools a visit today and fell for a pretty little hatchet.

It's made in Germany (since 1781, so it says) by Ochsenkopf Ox-Head.

The cutting edge is 4.5 inches, it has 800 stamped into the blade.

I think it was the shape of the head that attracted me to it.

Anyone have one or know if they are any good?.

Hey, I don't have one, but I've read reviews that said they're fantastic for axe carving.

Sorry I can't remember where I read the review, otherwise I'd give you the link. I'll try and find it tomorrow.

Have fun with it when it comes!

Jake.
