Been linked to this forum from a friend, I'm new to both the area (Exeter) and to bushcraft, so would appreciate any help/advice that anyone can give me as to how best to start my proper involvement in bushcraft.

Get yourself on a course or to one of the meetups arranged.... you'll pick up loads of tips and tricks and have a realy good time. You could also try finding other like minded people in your area... great to bounce ideas and techniques off each other.... everyone read lots of books... not just on bushcraft but also on wildlife and flora etc..... even if you just go for a walk to try and identify 5 trees..... its something :-) then you look into what they can be used for.
