F1 blade specs

does anyone know the diameters of the holes on this knife (minus the lanyard) im ordering some mosaic pins and am not sure what diameter to get.
also can someone give me the thickness of the handle, i need to make sure the wood i order aint to thin.

i was wondering if anyone has had experience with alphaknife supplies before and wether they provide a good service/ reasonable postage fees.

last but not least what glue can anyone rekomend for the handle, i have some 5 minuite araldite epoxy, is that ok?

I originally bought some standard one's from Brisa for mine and they were slightly too big. I think Leon1 worked out a way of enlarging the holes using a masonary bit IIRC. I wasn't so slick and ended up using some different brass pins after I'd melted a few standard drills :lmao:

Not tried to drill knife handles but I have found that the Cobalt alloy steel drill bits do quite nicely on hard steels, stainless and so on.

The Titanuim nitride coated drill bits are a bit crap IMO as once the nitride coating is worn off you only have a normal HSS bit and I have heard about people using just Tungsten drill bits (the same as gets used by locksmiths for entering safes without a key) to drill knife blades and even bearing steels but you should wear goggles as aparently they are rather brittle.

I used alphaknifesupplies and they are very good, very fast delivery usually less than a week and not expensive either. You need carbide drills for harden steel either a reprofiled masonary bit or a carbide twist drill bit at low speed and they are very brittle. I use ordinary aradite for gluing handles as it is tougher than 5 minute aradite.
