I'm thinking about buying some new Woolpower clothing but don't know if I should get the normal or the flame retardent versions of the 400g/m² full zip shirt, balaclava and long johns...
The amount of merino wool (69%) is the same but the FR series have about 12% aramide and 17% polyamide while the normal versions don't have aramide and come in 29% polyamide.
The price difference isn't worth mentioning, so is there a reason not to buy the FR versions? Especially around open fires, the FR sounds like a good idea?
Thanks in advance!
