Nope, didn't need to..... TBH it was a great meal, but a bit too hot for me and my heartburn, so I passed, you'll have to ask the others.

Could i get the bloody top to brown....it just kept sinking

i did learn a lot about melting snow though and think next time ill suspend a big bag next to the stove to keep the effort down. I also realised there is no such thing as clean snow. I ended up pouring it through a spare silk glove liner into my sigg to get the bits out which worked nicely and protected my filter from the crud and detritus. Im sure my milbank would have sufficed but it was at home

It did seem to come out hotter than it went in.. and it was hot when it went in, not good when your at work with the rumbles!

Sad to have missed this one guys, but great photos from everyone.

Still stuck in flattish Norfolk till next weekend, but ranges are ok, and teaching some SERE stuff so having some fun at least. Starting fires and making debris shelters and some other stuff too.
