WANTED Scales

hi, my mates just asked me to re handle a fork for her mum and would be a great first rehandling project for me, but need some wood for the handle quick, so anybody got any old bits lyin round? ive not got much in the way of swoping but id be willing to pay if i cant find anythin to swop,
