Stainless fry pan seasoning

I have made bannock a couple of times now ,,love it .
The problem is I have allways used a well seasoned cast iron fry pan that is to heavy to pack in my bergen really .
Can a Takonka fry pan be seasoned in the same way as a cast fry pan i.e. lard and bake in the oven at high heat ?
