Journey of a Lifetime
For those with a genuine curiosity about the world around them and the
desire to communicate this to a wider audience, the Journey of a Lifetime
is a grant of £4,000 for an original and inspiring journey anywhere in the world.
The winner will receive training in radio broadcasting from the BBC and will
record their experiences for a BBC Radio 4 documentary.
The aim of the award is to inspire an interest in the people and places of the
world and to discover new radio broadcasting talent.
Application is easy. Download the guidelines from the resource bar on the
right to see what we are looking for. Visit the BBC Radio 4 Journey of a
Lifetime website to listen to previous winners of the award and get a feel
for the sort of original ideas that have been supported in the past.
The next application deadline is 28 September 2007. Full guidelines and
