Artist Tim Knowles has plonked an easel in front of a tree, attached
pens to the tree and waited to see what the tree and wind might
produce...

See 'tree drawings' for more.

"You can really see the different qualities of each tree coming
out in the drawings. For example, hawthorn is really scratchy
and spiky - a bit neurotic - whereas oak has a fluid, meandering
signature."

Barking :D

Sounded very interesting, but those trees are definatley not artists....I preferred the pictures of the trees doing the drawing rather than the outcome.....
Bet they sell for thousands though........Hmmmmmm.......Off to buy my apple tree a paintbrush now........bye.....

I don't know about anyone else here, but a meandering oak is bad enough, and I don't ever want to meet a neurotic hawthorn...
